Our return policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
- Does not match its description
- Fails to meet consumer guarantees
These rights apply regardless of our store policy.
- Change‑of‑Mind Returns
We accept change‑of‑mind returns for hydraulic fittings and adapters under these conditions:
- Returned within 30 days of purchase
- Item is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is provided
- Item is a standard stock product (not custom or special‑order)
Change‑of‑mind returns are not required under ACL, but we offer them as a customer service option.
- Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return or refund, fittings and adapters must:
- Show no signs of installation, tool marks, or pressure testing
- Be free from contamination (oil, dirt, hydraulic fluid)
- Include all caps, plugs, labels, and packaging
- Pass inspection by our quality control team
- Non‑Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty under ACL:
- Installed or pressurised fittings or adapters
- Custom‑made or special‑order parts
- Hose assemblies built to customer specifications
- Items damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse
- Items contaminated with oil or hydraulic fluid
- Faulty or Defective Products
If a hydraulic fitting or adapter is faulty:
- Contact us as soon as possible
- We will assess the item in line with ACL requirements
- If the fault is confirmed, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost
Major failures qualify for a full refund or replacement.
Minor failures may be repaired or replaced.
- Incorrect Items Received
If you receive the wrong item:
- Notify us within 7 days
- We will arrange return shipping and send the correct item at no cost
- Return Process
- Contact our customer service team to request a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
- Package the item securely to prevent damage.
- Clearly mark the RA number on the package.
- Ship the item using a trackable method.• For change‑of‑mind returns, the customer pays return shipping.
- For faulty or incorrect items, we cover return shipping.
- Refunds & Restocking Fees
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection
- A 15% restocking fee may apply to change‑of‑mind returns
- Restocking fees do not apply to faulty or incorrect items under ACL
- Shipping costs are non‑refundable for change‑of‑mind returns
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days
- No Voluntary Warranty Offered
A&Z Engineering pty Ltd do not provide any voluntary, extended, or additional warranty on hydraulic hoses, fittings, or adapter parts.
Support is provided only as required under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Correct installation of all hydraulic hoses, fittings, and adapters
- Ensuring compatibility with their equipment
- Following all safety procedures and industry standards
- Preventing contamination, over‑pressurisation, or misuse
